AJK Police NTS Jobs Details
Azad Kashmir Police Career Notice announces the recruitment of Stenographers (BPS-14) and Police Constables (BPS-07). Males and Females will be recruited for these posts.
AJK nationals possessing Matriculation and Graduation are eligible. They should also fulfill the Physical and Skills requirements. Complete information on criteria can be viewed through the career notice.
Stenographers (BSP-14):
- Age Limit: 18 to 40 Years
- Qualifications: Graduation
- Diploma: Six Months Diploma in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc), and Urdu composing from a recognized institute.
- Skills: English/Urdu Typing Speed of at least 40 WPM
Police Constables (BPS-07):
- Age Limit: 18 to 25 Years
- Minimum Education: Matriculation
- Height: 5 Feet 7 Inches – For Males
- Running Test: 1.6 Kilometer in 7 Minutes
- Chest: 33 Inches + 1.5 Inches Expansion
- Sit-ups in 1 attempt: 20
- Push-ups in 1 attempt: 15
- Pull-ups in 1 attempt: 3
Lady Police Constables (BPS-07):
- Age Limit: 18 to 25 Years
- Minimum Education: Matriculation
- Height: 5 Feet 2 Inches
- Running Test: 1.6 KM in 9 Minutes
Candidates who meet the above requirements are perfectly eligible for this appointment. Candidates from Muzaffarabad, Neelum, Jhelum Valley, Bagh, Haveli, Rawalakot, Sudhanoti, Kotli, Mirpur, and Bhimber are eligible.
Individuals who left their homes in 1947 and pursued refuge in Pakistan and those who became refugees in 1989 are also eligible to get employment against this recruitment.
Recruitment of Police Constables Jobs Procedure
This recruitment procedure consists of four steps (Written Test, Physical Test, Psychological Test, and Interviews). If a candidate fails to pass any test will not be shortlisted for the next step.
The Written Test consists of a Descriptive Test (Urdu & English Subjects) and an MCQ test (Islamiat, Pakistan Studies, Urdu, General Knowledge, and English).
After passing the Written Test, candidates will go through the Physical Test and Psychological Test. The department board will conduct final interviews.
