MEXT Teacher Training Scholarships 2024 by Japan Embassy

Monbukagakusho (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology: MEXT) Government of Japan announces scholarships for Pakistanis (MEXT Teacher Training Scholarships 2024 by Japan Embassy).

The Government of Japan offered this non-degree scholarship program for only Teachers. So, that’s why it’s called Teacher Training Scholarships, but selected Teachers will get a certificate after completing the course.

This training course will be conducted any different universities of Japan working under the Ministry of Education Government of Japan. Primary and Secondary School Teachers across Pakistan can apply for these scholarships.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Age Limit: Applicants born on or after April 2, 1989 are eligible.
  • Qualifications: Applicants should be graduates of universities or teacher training schools
  • Experience: At least five years of service as Teacher in Primary/Secondary Schools or Teachers Training Schools
  • Note: In-service university faculty members are not eligible.

This scholarship will be offered for 18 months. Selected individuals should be psychologically capable of spending 18 months in a foreign atmosphere in a different community with a different culture from Pakistan.

Applicants must be ready to learn the Japanese language and receive research recommendations in the Japanese language because many universities teach courses only in Japanese. The university will provide Japanese Language Training in Japan.

  2. Duly filled Application Form should be submitted to the Public Affairs Section, Embassy of Japan, Diplomatic Enclave 1, Islamabad.
  3. Candidates may also forward applications to the Consulate General of Japan, 6/2 Civil Lines, Abdullah Haroon Road, Karachi, Pakistan.
